Black History Month: Websites

The organization behind the founding of Black History Month. Their mission is "to promote, research, preserve, interpret and disseminate information about Black life, history and culture to the global community."

BlackPast is a huge online reference center with historical resources covering African American and global African history, genealogy resources, bibliographies, multi-media, primary documents and more. It contains over 6,000 pages to explore.
