he NIH Common Fund's Human Microbiome Project (HMP) developed research resources to enable the study of the microbial communities that live in and on our bodies and the roles they play in human health and disease. This data portal allows access to data collected throughout the duration of the project.

The National Outbreak Reporting System (NORS) is a web-based platform used by local, state, and territorial health departments in the United States to report all waterborne and foodborne disease outbreaks and enteric disease outbreaks transmitted by contact with environmental sources, infected persons or animals, or unknown modes of transmission to CDC. NORS Dashboard is a web-based tool for searching and accessing data from NORS.

Viruses from the National Center for Biotechnology Information (NCBI) provides viral genome sequence data and related information.

A joint creation by the USDA Food Safety & Inspection Service (FSIS) and the USDA Agricultural Research Service (ARS), this site helps to assist food companies (large and small) in the use of predictive models, the appropriate application of models, and proper model interpretation of microbes in food.
